What do you need to have for a good trekking???
/ Water bottles (a minimum of 2 liters of water is highly recommended)
/ Your "lunch pack" (which you can request in the accommodation where you will be sleeping) or a snack because the walk can last an hour or more than 5 hours
/ Good hiking shoes (since you will be walking on both dry and wet foliage, you will slip, you will climb on sometimes unstable terrain, etc.)
/ Comfortable pants (I bet on jogging for example)
/ A rain jacket or equivalent in case it rains
/ A stick that can be lent to you at the starting point of the trek (or that can be purchased before the activity in one of the villages around the park for example)
/ A hat or cap for protection
/ A long-sleeved top to protect your arms (with all the branches you'll come across)
/ High socks (to put them over your pants afterwards and prevent ants from trying to make guilis on your body)
/ Photo equipment such as a camera and/or camera to immortalize the moment (although don't forget it... living this moment with the naked eye is also an even more "powerful" moment than behind your camera)
/ Binoculars (to get a closer look at gorillas or other animals) #NotRequired
/ Sun glasses #NotRequired
/ Gardening gloves (didn't have any so not necessary but recommended for those who want a bit more protection) to grab roots, tree branches when walking
